ok so a couple of years back i watched a movie about a woman that was outrageously fat and wanted to get a date so she got a make over and liposuction and in the beginning she ran in slow motion towards a bunch of fire men and theres one part where here boyfriend finds her old large undies… it was a romantic comedy but i forget what it was called … does anybody know?

I think you are talking about "Shallow Hal", although you have it a little wrong. In this movie a shallow guy sees a fat girl as a beautiful woman because he has been hypnotized. He finds her large panties in this movie and it’s a romantic comedy. "Date Movie" does a parody of this although I wouldn’t call it a romantic comedy.
