Okay, I Got to Ask This: Female to Male Transexuals…?
Is it really possible this kind of surgery? Where is it performed? How can they recreate the male aparatus? I’ve seen some pages of women who went through the hormonal and breast removal process, but there isn’t many accurate info. I saw a documentary on Nat. Geographic the other day, but it was about male to female transexuals. If you have any accurate info and true facts please pass them on.
Yes, double mastectomies are very common, as many women with breast cancer have the procedure done too. Many, many transmen (ftm people) get this "top surgery" done.
Phalloplasties (making a penis) are less common, but still out there. Many transmen don’t have this "bottom surgery" because the neophallus just doesn’t look, feel, or perform like a real penis, and the surgery is very painful.
http://www.thetransitionalmale.com/ is a very good site, which has info on surgery as well as a lot of other ftm things.
Yes, this surgery is definitely possible, although it’s still not as perfect as we’d like it to be- it doesn’t create genitals that can rival a biological male’s, the way that MtF bottom surgery can create a flawless vagina (as they say, it’s easier to dig a hole than build a pole).
Where is it performed? Well, pretty much all over the U.S., particularly in Canada (that’s where they’re doing the cutting-edge stuff), and probably in other parts of the world, too. Pretty much anywhere where there is a surgeon willing to do it (and many are, albeit usually in more urban, metropolitan areas).
How do they recreate the male aparatus? Well, it depends on the type of surgery. If it is a cliordectomy or a metoidioplasty, then all that is happening is a movement of the clitoris (which enlarges it). The clitoris is already enlargened from testosterone (and also grows a ‘head’ just like a penis), and the surgery simply cuts a tendon to let it hang lower and move it forward. If it is a phalloplasty, which results in a penis in similar size to that of a biological man, then it’s somewhat different: the organ is made from donated skin and nerves (usually from an arm). Testicles may be added by stretching the labial folds around round silicone implants.
Hope that helps. You can read more about FtM bottom surgery here:

most ftms who get genital surgery get their clitoris released — so it gains an inch or so.. along with the testosterone, the clitoris can gets a little larger… i once heard someone say that his clit got large enough to barely penetrate his partner… which is amazing….
some ftms DO get penises. the only procedure i know of is called a phalloplasty. they take the skin from the forearm, an air pump, and muscle from– i forget where— and create a penis, they stretch and add onto to the urethra and pull it thorugh the new penis shaft, so one could actually urinate through the penis…
… um…. … the results… are kinda realistic, but not so much. the BEST place to see surgery/before/after pics is here–
transster.com
you do need to set up an account, but that just involves an email address and a password that is immediately sent to your inbox. really quick. you can see a bunch of pics and get a hell of a lot of info. doctor lists… doctor websites…
the pics include 3 or 4 genital surgery categories, and the breast removal category.
check out the site. .. a lot of info, a lot of pictures. see for yourself what the new penises look like. interesting, AMAZING stuff.
it is possable. you have to research a reputable place these surgaries can be fatal or disfiguring if not done right. they can make something like the male genetalia but it is not perfected yet. male to female is easier to do than female to male
I took human sexuality class in college. There is a chapter about transexuals… either male to female or female to male. It is all possible.
I know that female to male have to perform operation on breast removal and other operations. but for detail I think you have to check these websites…

I have seen pictorial evidence of this surgery. It does exist…but I’ll leave it to someone who knows more about it to explain it to you.
