am 17 years old male and i was around 15 when i felt lumps in my nipples and i told my mum and she said it was puberty and it should go away in a matter of months maybe years but years on i still have the lumps in my nipples the are glands and they call this gynecomastia has anyone had the surgery where they take the glands out? as i really cant put u with this much longer it is putting me down i am not fat at all
WOULD I BE ABLE TO GET THIS DONE FREE ON THE NHS?
THANK YOU
Unless your case is really severe, NHS won’t do it for free… It is a cosmetic surgery and the condition doesn’t harm your health in any way..
Sometimes it takes more time for the glands to disappear. I would suggest you wait 2 more year. If it still persists, you might opt for the surgery. Meanwhile do exercise for upper chest and wear multiple layers of clothes.
It is advisable to watch your weight. If fat starts growing on your chest, it might look more feminine.
