Medication for Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia!!! Help!?

I’ve had gynecomastia for about 9 months. I was hoping it would go away but it hasnt. I’ve changed up my diet significantly and i only weigh about 140 lbs. I’m 5’6 so I’m far from overweight. i dont know what the cause is I dont take any medication I did smoke weed but have since quit. Has anybody had this and succesfully recovered? Surgery is not an option and I know I need to go to a doctor to make sure there is no underlying cause but no health insurance! (Thank You America). Please help
Im 23 and this is happening for the first time for me.

*****(see source) OK, my answer is only if you are 13 to 16YO boy. There is no need to go to a doctor if you don’t want to get referral for reduction surgery. The issue is a variant of normal genetics. Both male and female have a progesterone surge at puberty. But for some guys the result is a temporary disaster in the breast area. While most guys will notice small marbles under the nipples, rarely a guy will have larger amount of breast receptor cells to the hormone with resultant beg ger boobs. In one sense it is great that you have this condition because you have given up the weed, are exercising and eating better. Keep up the good work and I promise you that your boobs will dwindle as the hormone dissipates. One kid was a hit with the girls and couldn’t tolerate not showing off in the summer. His mom sent him to U.C. Davis school of med for that surgery.
