Lump in My Nipple (MALES)?
i have had lump inm y right nipple for the past week, it is a little painfull to the touch, and it probably the size of a pea, or a little smaller, i have smaller lump in my left nipple that doesnt hurt, i’m just worried that it could be breast cancer…. and also for treatment in males, would i need surgery to get rid of it or could i just get radiation treatment?
thanks
How old are you? If you are about thirteen years old or so, this is normal. Your breasts will develop just as a girl’s develops. However, yours will not grow larger necessarily. If they do though, you are experiencing gynecomastia, which is a common thing for teenage males to experience. Tender, somewhat sore nipples is fine for now. If the problem persists for too long though (more than a few months), I would consult your parents and a specialist about it.
Perhaps ask your dad about it so that he knows you are going through this part of puberty. He can clear any fears you may have.
Senior One has said everything that i can say.
It’s nothing to worry about. I have it too and looked into it alot.
(I’m 14 btw.)
Very normal. Everyone gets that as they develop. It is normal for them to hurt when you press on them too. Eventually, they will go away. Stop worrying, they are NOT breast cancer.
