Is Gynecomastia (Man Boobs) Genetic?
My uncle had gynecomastia when he was young. He went into the military and gained two inches in height and from what I’ve been told no one could even recognize him, but he still had gynecomastia. He did surgery to fix it. Now I’m 5′ 8" and I weigh 200 pounds, however, I look nothing like 200 pounds. I have a healthy heart, I just started working out recently, running, swimming, weight lifting, etc. But even when I weighed 168 I still had man boobs. I’m just wondering if this is genetic, or if I just need to get down to 150 pounds…something tells me I have gynecomastia. It’s not severe, but it’s there. My waist size is like between 32 to 33-ish. I have a broad build (big boned) I checked with a test, and yeah that’s about it. My family does have a history of diabetes if that’s applicable.
btw I’m 19
A lot of things are genetic but if you keep running and stick to a good diet you will lose them and if not then the surgery is there…
nah it means you have to much testosterone converting to estrogen. Caused by only 2 things:
1) Going threw puberty
2) Anabolic Steroids
EDIT: you probably don’t have gyne prolly just big boobs from like excess fat. Gyne means you have are growing breast tissue like females have.
